Updates as of March 19th, 2021


Well, been a while since I revisited this project. Mostly because I didn't know what to do with it. Something felt strange. But lying awake one night I realized that instead of a bunch of different levels, the game was going to be short enough and feel better as one long level with multiple sections. It would feel more like an adventure than a bunch of vaguely connected levels, and so that's what I'm doing.

The two sections in the local game now are two of I think 12 (I have them all written down, not gonna check though) that I will eventually implement, especially now that I've streamlined the development process to make level designing/building easier and made the game feel... just better. More weight. More fun. I'm not even talking about the physics. I'm just talking about the soul of it.
