A QUICK OVERVIEW:

• This is a turn-based card game where you sword fight against your opponents.
• The cards are your sword moves.
• The opponents are your sword friends.
• Create a character.
• Grab a deck.
• Out-wit your opponents in a back and forth battle where every move matters.
• Also, be nice to everyone you meet unless you’re in the middle of sword fighting with them.

• Character Permanence

  Fill out a character sheet, make up a name and short backstory for your fighter, and lead them to “fame” by defeating your friends and anyone else who dares to Two Freakin’ Swords sword fight you.

• Quick Action

  Simple enough to pick up and play, but deep enough to stay fun for sword fight after sword fight. Each round presents new opportunities to battle and bluff your way to Two Freakin’ Swords victory.

• Party and Tournament Ready

  Each box contains two balanced decks of cards (10 Strikes, 10 Fakes, 10 Blocks, 10 Parries), so you can play a game against friends right away, or use the second set of cards to customize your deck to better suit your playstyle and strategies.

YOU WANT A GENERAL OVERVIEW OF THE GAMEPLAY? LOOK NO FURTHER. LOOK A LITTLE FURTHER. JUST BELOW THIS LINE, ACTUALLY:

• Setup
  -Fill out a character sheet and place your custom deck of 40 cards behind your player screen.
  -If any sword fighter doesn’t have a deck to call their own, then play with a single deck of 80 cards (20 cards of each move) that everyone draws from.
  -You and the other sword fighters then select 4 cards each from your 40 card decks (or the 80 card community deck), and place a yellow AGGRESSION COIN by your right arms.

• Seating
  -In a 1 vs 1 sword fight, your right arm duels your opponent’s left and vice versa.
  -In a 3+ player rumble, sword fighters sit in a cirlce, dueling the opponents to their left and right.
  -Team games are similar, with teammates seated across from one another in the circle.

• Sword Fighting
  -The AGGRESSION COINS indicate who places their card (or cards) down first. Cards are placed with the red side up so your opponent never quite knows what your about to do.
  -Fight by placing the cards in your hand by your right and left arms, then flipping them once all cards are down.
  -Once the cards are flipped, reference the rules grid to see who struck who and which arms gained or lost AGGRESSION COINS.
  If you’re able to get two AGGRESSION COINS at the same time, then you can lunge at one of the other fighters’ arms.
  -Careful, though- in a 3+ player sword fight, lunging opens you up to an attack from another opponent, and in a 1 vs 1 fight it opens you up to an attack from your opponent’s free arm.

• Cards are 2 inches x 2 inches (front and back)
• Character Sheets are 3.5 inches x 2 inches (front and back)
• Instructions are 5.5 inches x 12.75 inches (front and back) and can be folded so as to have the rules grid standing upright.
• The Screens (to hide your cards behind) come in 8.5 inch x 11 inch sheets (front and back) which can then be cut and folded into screens.
